Darlene Glasgow

Helena, Alabama

I am a graduate student studying Human Services, a missionary, a pastor's wife, a mom, and a grandmother. I worked as a social worker in family and children services for seven years. I studied Psychology and Sociology in undergraduate school. I have been happily married for nine years. My husband and I have served for eight years as missionaries in Central America. I enjoy writing about relationships, family, marriage, second chances, ministry work, life as a missionary and my experiences as an older student. Now I'm looking for an opportunity for Freelance wrting. I also have gained wisdom through past experiences of going through divorce and coping as a single mom. I enjoy writing about what I've learned in life and through my formal education. I have also developed a few skills out of necessity, such as minor fixes for iphones and PC, designing and maintaining a website, and even being a wedding planner of sorts. I will soon complete my Graduate studies and I'm not sure where that will take me but I have a talent for expressing myself in writing so I'm exploring opportunites as a Freelance writer. Thus, the creation of this "about me" page. Hoping to make connections.
