Dr. Dhanesh R. Jayathilaka

Dr. Dhanesh R. Jayathilaka is a seasoned management consultant, proven trainer, and entrepreneur who leverages his own success stories and practical knowledge to guide others. He believes that experience as an entrepreneur or management professional is essential for effectively mentoring others.
He pursued doctoral studies at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David, and subsequently earned his Doctorate from EIU-Paris (European International University) in France.
Dr. Jayathilaka holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wales and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the same university, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM). He is a member of the Asia Marketing Federation (MAPMF), the American Marketing Association, and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM), UK.
Over a 27-year career spanning healthcare, telecommunications, education, and IT, he has trained over 11,000 marketing students and corporate decision-makers locally and internationally. As CEO and co-founder of Xiteb (Pvt) Ltd., a multinational web and mobile solutions provider, he has been instrumental in driving innovation and growth since 2010.
Dr. Jayathilaka has served as a consultant to Sri Lanka's Parliament staff, government ministries, and institutions through USAID’s Democratic Governance and Accountability Project (2018–2020). He also collaborated with the Ministry of Skill Development and Vocational Training as a consultant and visiting faculty member for its mini-MBA program.
He is the Founder President of BNI Elite Chapter in Sri Lanka, serves as a Director Consultant and Ambassador for BNI Sri Lanka, and is a member of BNI-USA.
He previously held key roles at SLIM, including Vice President, Secretary, and Secretary General of the Asia Marketing Federation Sri Lanka Association (ACSA).
As an honorary IT Consultant to SLIM for 2024–2025, Dr. Jayathilaka contributes to curriculum reform for universities and frequently speaks at business and marketing programs across institutions in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
