Dhanushka Wijeyekoon

I started my professional career as a salesperson and worked in various multinational companies in Telecom and ICT industries in Sri Lanka, then moved to Inbound tourism/destination management and climbed the corporate ladder in the hospitality and tourism sector. I have held the positions of Head of marketing and General manager in different inbound tour operating companies before inventing Koon Holidays.

I hold an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University - UK, Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK), Professional Member of Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (MCTH -UK), and Member of Chartered professional managers of Sri Lanka (MCPM - SL) & Alumni of Royal College Colombo 07.

I am a visiting lecturer at various higher education institutes in Sri Lanka and facilitates the younger generation by educating them about hospitality, tourism, international business & sustainability.

I have traveled to over 25 countries in the world and possess in-depth knowledge of world tourism and an avid traveler who enjoys and discovers the various aspects of different local cultures around the world.

Above all, I still would like to introduce myself as a salesperson.
