Dr. Dharmendra Sheth isan engineer turned teacher, with more than two decades of experience in English language teaching and research. He has prepared thousands of learners for various language examinations such as IELTS, TOEFL and BEC. Apart from a Diploma in Electronics and Radio Engineering, he has an MA in English, a PhD in English and a TESOL certificate from Wisconsin University, US. He has taught at several colleges and universities. As a corporate trainer, he has trained employees of Larsen and Toubro (L&T), ESSAR, Vodafone, NJ Indialnvest, Luthra Dyeing and Printing, Adani Port and Eliochem (Omnova Industries). He has presented research papers at various regional, national, and international conferences and seminars. As a teacher trainer, he has conducted numerous workshops and organised many seminars and conferences at various places in the country. He has also been instrumental in creating and consolidating networks of ELT professionals and practitioners within the state and the nation. He worked as National Vice President, English Language Teachers' Association of India (ELT@I) for five years. His areas of interest are Spoken English, Phonetics and Phonology, Grammar, Teacher Development and Writing. On American Government’s invitation, he attended TESOL conference in Seattle, US and visited institutes run by University of California. March 2007. And as a special guest of the British Council, UK, he presented a research paper at the IATEFL conference in Brighton, England. April 2011.
