Dhawal Shah joined the Franchising Association of India in February 2004, a non-profit organisation committed to the cause of promoting FRANCHISING as a way of doing business in India. He has contributed articles for Images Retail, Franchising Focus, RetailBiz, Times of India and several other publications. He is a columnist for FAI's publication Franchising Focus. For his forthcoming articles he researches the franchise industry, to come out with new ideas and also enrich his Franchise Quotient. Past franchising writing credits, include, articles like Franchising, a safe express to entrepreneurship, Franchising as a career option, Food franchising dynamics, The Potential of International Franchising in India, The Future of Franchising and many more. He has studied franchising activity in several cities namely, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata. He is also co-authoring a book on Franchising with Mr. Pramod Khera, CEO, Aptech Ltd. Franchising is indeed a vast growing field, at FAI, along with the FAI Team, he has organised and conducted various seminars and conferences around the world. Back in 2008, Dhawal, co-founded Way2Franchise.com, a premier portal on Indian Franchising. He is now building a sales team. He is also providing a benchmarking solution for franchise brands, apart from exclusive representation of international master franchise brands.
