Daniel Herbein
Amherst, Massachusetts, United States
My name is Daniel Herbein and I am a junior marketing major in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I'm from Pottstown, Pennsylvania; a suburb of Philadelphia.
The primary goal in my career path is to be a marketing manager for a professional sports team, no matter the location. From golf to football, I have a huge passion for athletics and thoroughly enjoy both watching and playing them whenever possible. Being a key component of a successful sports marketing team is one of my biggest career aspirations which I hope to achieve some day.
I have already begun my experience in management with a part-time job here on campus. I am currently employed as a lead of the changeover crew at the Comcast/Global Spectrum-owned Mullins Center which plays host to the UMass basketball and hockey teams as well as numerous other events. I am in charge of and lead crews of up to 20 employees to ensure efficient, timely transfers from one arena layout to another; a skill that will surely benefit me in my future endeavors.
