Deb Hubsmith
I'm blessed with a beautiful life, wonderful family and friends, and an exciting career.
In October 2013, I was suddenly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), following a two week illness not unlike a flu. My life changed immedidately.
I am currently in remission after 103 days of being treated at Kaiser Permanente's Hospital in San Rafael, CA where I received induction and consolidation chemotheraphy. I am continuing my treatment at Stanford's Cancer Center in March to receive a bone marrow transplant which is designed to CURE me forever.
I WILL be cured and live a healthy, happy long life.
