Kishor Nandakumar Shenvi Dhume

Employed with Inspectorate of Factories & Boilers, (Govt. of Goa) as Assistant Librarian since 1987 and has accepted various responsibilities in the department.

He has Masters Degree in Library and Information Science and Masters of Arts (Sociology). He has undergone Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking besides number of diploma courses on various subjects including Computers. He has given several presentations in various forums and has penchant for research on OSHE.

He is presently Director Administration (Honorary) of Green Triangle Society, an NGO dedicated for Occupational Safety, Health and Environment. He has played a very important role in the society since its inception in the year 2000 and is deeply involved in organizing of 9 National Conference(s) on Occupational Safety Health and Environment in Goa besides various monthly/specialized programmes.

He is member of various organizations, Professional and Social namely, Society of Information Science, Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Science, Indian Libraries Association., Association of Government Libraries & Information Specialists, Goa Library Association; Goa Hiking Association; Konkani Bhasha Mandal; Panjim City Round Table No. 128 ((Founder member & presently Horary Member); Red Cross Society (Goa State Branch); Panaji Ambulance And Welfare Trust; Green Triangle Society; Diabetes Association of India Konkan Branch; Samrat Club of Panjim and Rotary Club of Panaji

Important Portfolios held by him as on date include Chairman and Secretary of Panjim City Round Table No. 128 and was awarded Certificate of Merit as Best Secretary at Area VI and at National Level, awarded Certificate of Merit as the Best Chairman in Area VI. Served as Club Secretary of Rotary Club of Panaji and was awarded Best Club Secretary of Rotary International District 3170, Secretary of Panaji Ambulance and Welfare Trust and served as Hon. Secretary of IFB Emp. Cr. Co.op Society for two terms where the the society was upgraded to Grade A Society. He was CC Promotion of New Technology Rotary International District 3170 for two terms. Presently he is the DCC for Preserve Plant Earth RID 3170 and Vice President Rotary Club of Panaji. And President Samraat Club Panaji

He likes traveling and is ever enthusiastic in associating himself for organizin
