Diaa El-Masry

With more than 20 Years of experience in Architectural Design as a Senior Architect & Design Manager, I grew a keen interest towards encouraging and accelerating global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices. I have strong experience as a mentor of Green Building Concepts, LEED programs, Design Management and sustainable public awareness. I consider myself a pioneer in providing LEED training & Green Education to various clients & organizations in Qatar.

I am a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) since 2009 and at the same time GSAS CGP, with a great passion to spread sustainability concepts, green building design and integrated design process awareness by giving speeches to building professionals, owners, contractors, local authorities, etc. I am also a Co-founder of Qatar Green Leaders, a member company of the USGBC (United States Green Building Council) and a Licensed GSAS Service Provider by GORD, providing Green Building Certification Management (LEED/GSAS), and Training Services to the public and private sectors.

- Certified QSAS CGP (Qatar Sustainability Assessment System - Certified Green Professional) by GORD (Gulf Organization for Research & Development) – Qatar.
- Certified LEED AP (BD&C) (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) by USGBC (US Green Building Council)– USA.
- Certified PMP (Project Management Professional) by PMI (Project Management Institute) - USA.
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture with more than (20) years work experience.
- More than (12) years of work experience in GCC (Qatar - UAE).
- Extensive knowledge of Design & Management Computer Software.
- Familiar with local Qatari & UAE Architectural Practices and Regulations.
- Strong knowledge of general US, British and EU standards.
- Excellent oral and written communication & organizational skills (Arabic – English).
