Diana Hambardzumyan – Armenian writer, literary translator, Doctor of Sciences (Philology), Professor
Was born in Tiflis, Georgia, in 1961

Since 1984 till present has worked at Yerevan State Linguistic University at the English Communication and Translation Chair, teaching English Reading Skills and Literary Translation. In1983, graduated from Yerevan State Linguistic University, English Department with Honors Diploma, in1990, earned PhD degree, in2004, earned the scientific title of Associate Professor, in 2007, earned the degree of Doctor of Sciences (Philology), in2009, earned the scientific title of Professor.

The author of 18 books - fiction, translations, monographs, university text-books, more than 55 scholarly articles published in International and Republican journals and collections.

Diana’s works are translated into Russian, English, French, Italian, German, Georgian, Persian, Turkish, Arabic, Romanian, Croatian, Ukrainian and Korean.
