Diana Ngao is a strategic communications and crisis and reputation management specialist. With over 10 years of experience, Diana has worked in various sectors such as; the travel and events industry, Start up ecosystem, Public Sector, civil society and political landscape in Kenya where she honed her skills in spearheading advocacy campaigns that generate public interest and create tangible change.
Diana's career highlights include serving as Director of County Press Unit of Mombasa County leading the County's Public Communications. She has also served in. Presidential Campaign as Director Communications (Running mate Office). As a consultant in private sector, a key highlight includes leading the development of training modules in marketing, branding and storytelling for over 40 start ups in Sub-Saharan Africa participating in the Afri-plastics Challenge 2022.
Diana is also an advocate for youth and women empowerment through education training and mentorship. She is co-founder of a non-profit organization; Positive Action Kenya. PAK seeks to provide access to quality and holistic education to youth in Kenya. The organization has impacted 1236 youth by providing access to educational scholarships and training.
She is a recipient of the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders (2019) - A flagship fellowship program by Former President Obama.
