Currently teaching DE classes in Political Science at UH Leeward and Kapiolani Community Colleges. Face to face classes that I have taught include Introduction to Women's Studies, Women and Media, Society and Women, Costumes and Cultures of Asia, and Dance Theory and Criticism. Besides teaching for the UH system, I founded a school of Chinese dance in Honolulu, the Phoenix Dance Chamber, in 1989 based on the teachings of Prof. Liu Youlan, Ethnic Dance Specialist of the Bejing Dance Academy.
