Diane Thompson
Suffern, NY
I have managed a bowling alley and a physical therapy clinic, worked at a gas station, done home healthcare, data entry, and COBOL programming. For the past twenty years, I have been a technical writer authoring both operation’s manuals and online help. My proudest achievement as a technical writer was writing the service documentation for the Cat in the Hat ride for Universal Studios Tour. Unfortunately, my employers didn’t appreciate my whimsical approach.
In a current reality, I am semi-retired and writing the sequel to my novel, Familiar Moon. I have a website, www.thetechnicalauthor.net and another novel already in the pipeline. I live in a village in New York State, just north of the city so nice they named it twice and share my small home with my artist son, Maggie the cat, many, many books, and an e-reader. Check out my son's web comic,

In another reality, have been living in the moon for the past forty years.
