Looking for fun in everything I do, I am a work in progress or as my husband says "a piece of work." Believing in the Tao of life, I work to live in the flow, doing things for the right reason and with the best intentions. Early on my goal was to try almost everything! Well, I have, and the journey has presented amazing people and incredible opportunities!
Music was always a big part of my life, and after attending the RI Governors School for Gifted, Talented Students, my goals were solidified. Studying oboe, voice, acting and dance privately, a few semesters of The RI School of Music and Berklee College of Music, the inspiration was there to form my own nine pieces Vegas Show Band, Fancy Colours. Singing, Arranging, choreographing, designing costumes and comedy filled my soul! Touring and performing six nights a week, fifty weeks a year for close to fourteen years led me to see many parts of this incredible world and meet some fascinating people. Settling down led me to a career in retail. With my own weight becoming an issue, (Singing and dancing six nights a week, fifty weeks a year is hard to duplicate in a normal life). I then went on to manage a weight loss center helping others struggling with their weight. Motherhood, several businesses, lots of volunteer hours later, led me to an AM radio station as co-host of the Madhouse Show with JoJo and Di. A new passion was unfolding. The spontaneity of creating live radio every day, interviewing extraordinary and bizarre people, and creating commercials using my voice over abilities was exciting to say the least. After interviewing World Renown Spiritual Medium, Roland Comtois, and on his suggestion, I created Talkstreamradio.com with the help of my husband's Company, Massimo Productions. It was my way of contributing to society a place where like minded people, seeking to improve their mind, body, and spirit could come to better their lives and their relationships; in turn, humanity. The journey continues and my passion as a Reiki Master Teacher is to help others on their path to self discovery. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive change in our world and am always humbled by the experience. Part of my goal to light the souls of many has been achieved with the publishing of my first children's book, The Blue Kataroo! This half cat, half kangaroo character will touch your heart as she overcomes adversity. A lesson for all people; all ages.
