Being a lawyer should be considered a responsibility. Every lawyer has a duty to help those who cannot help themselves. Every lawyer has an obligation to use their knowledge to benefit the legal system as a whole. Every lawyer should be committed to quality, not to quantity when representing their clients. Providing quality legal advice is not the same as selling a vehicle or underwear.

I tell all my mentees and law students - love what you do. Treat others the way you want your mother or grandmother to be treated.
