Diane Fernandez was born and raised in South Los Angeles and at a young age she became interested in hair. At age 13 she began to mess with her friends hair. She started to become familiar with hair lighteners and color when she colored her own hair all through high school and never thought about doing hair as a career.

Starting college she did not know what she wanted to study. After becoming a mom at 20-years-old she knew that she had to get her life on track. Then after changing her major three times , she finally gave cosmetology a try.

Attending one of the best Cosmetology program in Los Angeles she began to volunteer for hair/fashion shows to do hair and make up. She learned all that was needed to get her license. In 2017 she will have her Associates Degree and will begin to plan the opening of her own salon. By 2020 she will have opened her own salon.
