Diane Flint
Small Business Owner, Consultant, and Teacher in Airville, Pennsylvania
I grew up in rural Carroll County Maryland, and spend plenty of time in the country learning the value of hard work from my grandparents.
I joined the fire service in 1993, became an EMT and then a Paramedic in 1999.
I am currently a professor and undergraduate program director for EHS at UMBC and own a small EMS education and consulting business on the side while completing my doctoral studies in public administration.
My current area of research is Community Paramedicine, EMTALA's repercussions, and public pre-hospital health.
