The focus of my career has been the study and teaching of Cross Cultural Understanding and Second Language Aquistion. My passions are Educational Equtiy and The Arts. I enjoy travel, good food, fine art, theater, music and film as well as a good political discussion.

I have had the good fortune to live in Florence, Italy for many years and now visit this beautiful city twice a year for two to three months at a time. Traveling throughout the United States and in Europe allows me to observe and participate in cultural interactions that enrich my life.
