I am a consultant, public speaker, and teacher currently living in Montevideo, Uruguay. My interests range from innovation in education to curriculum design and teacher education both in the field of English Language Teaching and Education in general. I am also interested in materials design (and have written a number of language learning textbooks and reference materials for prestigious international publishers), the role of technology in teaching and learning, and the development of entrepreneurship through education.

I work or have worked in general education projects for the US Department of State, the British Council, the European Union, UNESCO, UNICEF, the World Bank and the Inter American Development Bank. These projects have ranged from small educational innovations to system-wide reforms. Of all these endeavors my favorite ones have been those in which I have had the chance to train teachers or run Training of Trainers programs.
