Anthony Luciano DiCarlo

Mr. DiCarlo been training for a combined total of about 12+ years. He started his training in Monroe, MI in 1996 in the style of Choi Kwang Do. He achieved the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt by 1998. By 1999 he was employed by Ford Motor Co. in Monroe and had to put his training on hold due to the shift he had to work. By 2005, Mr. DiCarlo was placed back on day shift and was able to continue his training. In 2006 Mr. DiCarlo was working a full time job and running two community programs at the Taylor Sports-Plex & Dearborn Ice Skating Center.

Continuing his hard work, dedication and a passion for the art, he obtained his Second Degree Black Belt & International Facility Member in 2007. Due to the cut backs and layoffs in 2008, Mr. DiCarlo receives a Buy-out package from Ford Motor Co. and purchased a martial art school in the Trenton area and received his 3rd Degree Black Belt in 2009. By 2010, he built and outgrew his location and moved to this current location in the Woodhaven Commons.

His teaching experience ranges from ages 3 to 76 yrs of age. He is very dedicated and his main focus in teaching Choi Kwang Do is to help educate the community on the benefits of leading longer healthier lives through proper exercise. He has taught afterschool programs at St. Mary’s School in Rockwood & St. Pius School in Southgate, MI.

He provide a family oriented atmosphere for people of all ages to come together and train. With kids, adults & family classes it is a great place to make new friends, share a few laughs & get in great shape. His classes are tailored to meet your training needs and he is always working on changing up the class routines to make your training experience fresh & unique.
