I have over 26 successful years in sales and business management. Over the years, I've learned the importance of listening to and communicating with people. I'm easy to work with and know how to get things done. I have come to understand how important it is to put customers'/taxpayers' needs first.

People like talking to me, because I'm approachable. I'm also very clear that as a Gem County Commissioner, I must keep the needs of the taxpayer clearly in mind. In short...I will treat the taxpayers as customers, putting their needs first.

I believe in minimal government, strongly favor land owners rights and believe in balanced budgets. I will work equally hard to keep taxes where they are now. I will use my common-sense approach to everything in my service to the people.

I am an active volunteer in the community and a concerned neighbor:

• Volunteered & served on the Relay For Life Committee
• Support & serve local 4-H
• Volunteer at Junior Miss Cherry Festival
• Headed 3 committees which created award winning Cherry Festival floats
• Serve as a Gem County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador
• Promote and host my neighborhood potluck gatherings

My husband, Chuck and I love the friendly, rural feel of Gem County. We have three children and three grand children. I'm constantly working to bring people together and promoting better understanding and a friendlier atmosphere wherever I go. I believe that, "Friendship and good neighbor relations are two of the biggest strengths of small communities. It's what brings families to Gem County!"
