Diego attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sports Communication. While at Marist he was involved with 'The Circle' (campus newspaper), WMAR (campus radio station), MCTV (campus TV station), MCCTA (theater group) and Singers (campus choir). During his undergraduate degree program he also studied abroad for 6 months at Deakin University in Australia.

Marist College and the Hudson-Valley was a great environment to gain experience in different mediums of communications and he would continue that in his professional career in his hometown of New York. After starting out as a freelance sports writer with published stories in ‘The Poughkeepise Journal,’ he joined an entry-level career program at NBC called the ‘Page Program.’ There he gained experiences in public relations, sports marketing, and give guided tours of the NBC studios at the famous Rockefeller Center.

Upon completing his tenure in the Page Program, Diego went worked as a freelance television production assistant working on different sporting events and shows. He helped to produce segments and highlights across different properties including HBO’s “24/7” series, ESPN’s “Sportscenter,” “NBA Countdown” and “NFL Countdown.” Following two years in television production, he is currently in advertising sales at NBC.

He is the proud parent of a pair of bonded bunnies; a lion-head and a silver dwarf mix.
