Diggy Derk is an artist, rapper and musician from New Haven, Indiana. Growing up music held a special place in Diggy's heart, but it wasn't until 2016 when he started making music professionally. When he was younger, Diggy looked to music as his therapy and in return, it helped him get through as you could say, dark times, later serving as the inspiration for his project "Dark Times." His goal with getting involved in the music industry was to help him in overcoming his depression, anxiety and drug abuse. Thankfully, it did. For the past 3 years of his life he has dedicated himself to developing as an artist, finding his sound, reinvesting into the brand, and continuing to perfect his craft so others too, can better enjoy the music in which he releases.

Whereas many artists are in it for the money, his purpose goes deeper than materialistic and superficial things. Diggy is using his music to defeat mental illness not only for himself, but for people in general. After personally experiencing these demons, he knows that there are others in similar situations who need to hear what he has to say, and about how he has overcome the demons of his life.

In 2019 Diggy dropped his first first full length project, "Dark Times" which is now available on all streaming platforms.
