I started learning Salsa on-1 in late 2009. Post 2012 I was fortunate enough to attend some quality Salsa congresses across India such as IFL (Delhi), IIDC (Bangalore), IDF (Kolkata), Bailamos (Mumbai), PIDC (Pune), LSF (Pune) etc. where I got opportunities to learn directly from the internationally acclaimed artistes such as Eddie Torres, Adolfo & Tania, Fernando Sosa & Tropical Gem, Carla Voconi, Eddie Torres Jr, Karel & Marco, Dominican Power, Vanessa Lacedonia, Rodrigo & Bersy, Kiko & Cristina, Samy & Carolina, Oliver Pineda, Alien Ramirez, Gaby Equiz, Terry Tauliaut, Neeraj Maskara, Super Mario, Andrea & Silvia, Jorge & Tanja, Adrian & Anita, Johnny Vazquez, Kiko & Cristina to name a few. This exposure influenced me to pursue this hobby as a part time profession. Since then the learning curve fortunately continues to grow upward.

I am learning Afro and Mambo since three years & totally in love with these styles. I get inspired by Adolfo Indacochea - the prince of Mambo.

I got hooked to these dances mainly due to its social aspect, where one gets to meet new people, dance with practically everyone and make friends even in a completely strange city / country. Salsa, for me, is a universal language. I am largely known for my social dancing skills. I have been hosting salsa social parties for quite some time in Thane, Mumbai and around.

The second thing that knits me closely to this culture is definitely the super-rich Latin music. My musically conditioned ears find peace when the clave or tumbao rhythms take over. I also have DJayed at numerous social parties, for over 4 years now, simply out of love for the richness of the Latin music. However social dancing remains my first love.

I have performed at various high profile events such as Kala Ghoda Art Fest, IIDC, LSF, Bailamos, GIDC, LSD Experience, Sanskruti Art Festival, Showcase etc.

My dance company - All That Latin - conducts regular beginner and improver classes for Salsa and Bachata in Thane. I wish to spread the flavor of Latin culture among masses at affordable prices.

I debuted as a festival organizer in January 2018 with Latin Soul Fiesta.
