Dillon Downing

The story starts on a late June day in the year 2000 when the main character, Dillon, is born in a hospital in Georgia. Our protagonist lived a normal life in a suburban home with a father, mother, and brother. He attended school, played with his friends, and loved the outdoors. He was a fairly quiet child when you first met him but could quickly open up to the right people. Our protagonist progressed through early life fairly easily despite some hiccups such as a broken arm. The story does not get interesting until highschool when our main character is convinced to do year-round swim. It is really tough at first but he sticks with it and gets faster and faster. He spends hours upon hours in the pool getting stronger and gaining endurance. Eventually he gets to the point where he is fast enough to be recruited for college and decides to swim at the University of Georgia. We catch back up with our protagonist as he is in his sophomore year in college. His life is dominated by swim and school but he would not have it any other way. You can catch Dillon doing laps in the pool or hanging with his friends in his dorm.
