My name is Dillon Dean James. I'm a writer and actor attending Trinity Western University in Vancouver, BC. I'm originally from Southern California, where I'll be returning shortly.
In high school, my writing was published in local magazines and newspapers. (Fun fact: an essay I wrote in the eleventh grade is now in a time capsule in my hometown.) During university, I conceived and wrote my first one-act play, Ctrl+Z, within an hour. This play went on to receive a staged reading in the fall of 2013. My second play, a witty surrealist comedy called Feminist Fan Club, is a part of SAMC Theatre's New Generations 2014.
As an actor, I've starred in Richard Greenberg's Life Under Water (TWU), George Bernard Shaw's You Never Can Tell (TWU), and Julie Casselman and Ben Buckingam's musical The Literalist Book Club (TWU).
