Dimitri Van Roy

As a native Belgian, Dimitri speaks five languages: Dutch, English, French, German and Beer.

For the last three years, he has served as a business analyst for a multi-national market research firm - servicing, training and presenting to retailers in Dutch, English and French. His master degree in business makes him naturally interested in strategy, and his culture and creativity have lead to the exploration of the craft beer industry.

His growing interest in unique craft beers, and love for travel, has brought him to beer festivals like Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Borefts and EurHop; as well as trending bars such as Akkurat, Mikkeller, BrewDog and Moeder Lambic. Visits to breweries and brew pubs in Belgium, Canada, the U.S., Ireland, Italy and the Åland Islands have rounded out his beer exploration.

Dimitri acquired a beer connoisseur certification at the Syntra school in Belgium and completed the Cicerone Program Certified Beer Server.
