I believe that everyone's story can be best told in their own words - the journey through life, full of mountains and valleys, has themes that cross generations, and lessons that impact the future.

The same goes for businesses! Many companies start out on an idea, a void in the market that needs to be filled, and with a little risk and passion, the owner or entrepreneur begins yet another journey through the business world, impacting one life at a time in their own unique way.

As a freelance journalist and college instructor, I saw students and businesses alike, struggle to tell their story in a way that truly exemplified their persona. Students write admissions essays every year to go to college - the ones that stand out tell their unique story. Businesses are told to use blogs and press releases to market themselves - and again, the ones that stand out are those that put passion to paper and write what they know and hold dear.

Using my years of higher education, writing, and a Master's in Business Administration emphasizing on Marketing and Strategy, I've honed my skills in optimizing print and online collateral, and continue to work with students to fulfill their dreams through the written word.

In addition to consulting and coaching, I am an active member of Business Network International (BNI) and work as a Marketing Manager to help SMBs increase web presence from a variety of different angles and strategies. I've also led webinars and sessions focusing on specific aspects SEM and content management, and enjoy the cross between education and success in the business world.

I currently live in the Bay Area with my husband and our soon-to-be-born daughter. I love writing as a hobby and intend to publish my first fictional novel in 2016, hopefully before the baby starts walking and talking! You might also catch me at the gym or local basketball court, or just having coffee with friends and family.
