Dina Leah

First and foremost, I am a survivor. I've survived childhood abuse, homelessness, sexual predation and prostitution. I've survived serious mental illness, which has cost my my profession as a medical doctor, my relationships, and most of my possessions. I have chosen to fight back, to survive: and my weapon is my pen; or rather, in these days, my keyboard! I have authored many short stories and essays, some of which have been published in print and online. I am currently nearing the completion of my first novel, "A Runaway Life," loosely based on my experiences as a teenage runaway, and the experiences of people I have met along my life's journey.
