Below is an an excerpt from her 2013 graduation thesis curriculum vitae that (she thinks) best summarizes her philosophies and dreams:

" She has just been hired as a junior field correspondent, a novice in one of the most reputable television stations in the country.

For the last five years, she has worked as a commendable AM radio newswriter – this is exactly how Desserie pictures herself six years from now.

She hated Mathematics way back nursery and sadly she still does until today. Her desire to conquer her fear of speaking in front of large audience made her take a degree in Bachelor in Broadcast Communication in PUP, Manila.

Desserie's biggest goals are: to send her youngest sibling to UP Diliman; give early retirement to her parents; find a God-fearing husband; be a mom of five wonderful kids and travel the world with them.

She treats each day as if it is her last: accomplishing every duty with passion and excellence, genuinely loving every person around her and thanking God for every day He bestows upon her.

She holds on to these words as her life verse: “In the brink of death your whole life will flash before your eyes – so make it worth watching. ”_
