Dion L. Davis

A native of Washington, D.C., Dion L. Davis was born July 17th to the late Renee and Ray Davis. He attended The Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts in D.C. where he majored in vocal music. Upon graduating from Duke Ellington, he enrolled at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee where he majored and received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Dion has also obtained his Master of Divinity from Howard University. He is a 2008 recipient of the President of the United States Civil Volunteer Service Award for his dedicated and diligent work within the community at-large. He also served as a friendship Ambassador to Amsterdam, Europe.

Dion L. Davis is a highly sought after preacher, actor, creative writer, keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, motivational speaker and life coach. He is called upon to conduct youth and young adult seminars and conferences, client based workshops, Power Lunches, and private organizational and governmental consultation. Dion L. Davis has spoken in most rural settings as well as numerous pinnacles of academe locally and throughout the country. He has also spoken to a wide range of diverse audiences including government officials, corporate, private, and not-for-profit organizations, churches, religious and youth organizations, residential facilities, professional mentoring groups, elementary, middle and high schools. Dion L. Davis is certified by the Center for Disease Control to provide risk reduction group level interventions. During his tenure as a HIV/AIDS advocate, Dion L. Davis has co-facilitated other risk-reduction services that used approved CDC- Diffusion of Effective Behavioral Interventions. At each of these events, Dion L. Davis displayed his unique ability to address current affairs and implement life-changing practical principles.
