On the streets, off the cuff. Urban guerilla street photography.
I've been taking photos ever since my granddad gave me a small fixed lens camera at about 7 years old, I don't remember what model it was anymore - the first picture I took was in Wales from the window of the Snowdon mountain train, whilst we climbed ever higher to the summit. I remember the cool mountain sun light, dappled through tall trees and a dark, steep mountainside stretching far below us. I'm still looking for that first photo - it's hidden somewhere at my parent’s house.
These days I'm living in Haarlem, Netherlands having arrived via spells in India, Thailand & Australia amongst others.
I studied Fine Art, Film & Photography, first at Berkshire College of Art & then Plymouth College of Art & Design.
I've taken my camera on many journeys and I'm sharply aware of how lucky I have been for my experiences & opportunities but somewhere along the way I lost sight of my passion.
I've wrested control of it once more - my camera is living with me again and it feels liberating.
