Dionne S. Anderson was born with creativity running through her veins. Her mother use to tell her at a young age one day she would have a story to tell the entire world. That day is now… After 17 years as a Director of Environmental Services for Medical Centers across the country, the stories wouldn’t stop playing in her head. One day after a long night of dreaming, she woke up and said “Who of Publishing Ideas from Beginning to Ending?” From that day forward she knew what she was suppose to be doing with her life. Creating! After enrolling at Full Sail University in 2012 she earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts for Creative Writing for Entertainment.Her Education doesn’t stop there; in May 2015 she began her Masters in Public Relations for Entertainment. The creative juices continue to wake her up at night with ideas from commercials, to real stories about ADHD and even movies such as a Romantic Comedy, I guess one could say working in the hospital all those years gave her a bit of inspiration!The most important feature about Dionne is her ability to stay true to her writing. She is a writer from the heart she cares about what she puts on the paper and refuses to allow anyone to take that away from her. One of her famous quotes “Writers Block Comes from Not Being True To the Art”. It speaks to who she is as a writer and as a person. I look forward to her following her dreams and becoming the first African American Woman to win an Oscar for Original Screen Play, I have no doubt that she will accomplish that goal.
