Direct Access Rheumatology

Integrative Clinic in Las Vegas, NV

Direct Access Rheumatology focuses on helping patients achieve optimal health through changes in lifestyle, diet, and various therapies. Led by Dr. Naya McKinnon and the first integrative clinic of its kind in Las Vegas, Direct Access Rheumatology treats patients with autoimmune and other conditions, such as various forms of arthritis, mixed connective tissue disease, lupus, gout, and carpal tunnel syndrome, among many others.

Its staff looks for the root causes of a patient’s condition, and then provides treatment by integrating modern and holistic medicine. The clinic’s integrative approach to delivering individualized care emphasizes plans that might include an anti-inflammatory diet, nutritional supplements (herbs/vitamins), holistic therapies, and changes in the patient’s lifestyle that encourage the natural healing process.

Dr. Naya McKinnon founded the clinic with the belief that this integrative, individualized approach to delivering care achieves positive health outcomes for the patient. Dr. McKinnon’s credentials, training, and work experience include earning her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, completing her residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic, a rheumatology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, and serving as an assistant professor of rheumatology, also at UC Irvine.
