Direct Appliance Rentals was founded in 2008 with the vision to enable customers who would otherwise have difficulties accessing consumer finance to take advantage of new technologies and enjoy brand new household goods by leasing these items from DAR.

Direct Appliance Rentals is committed to helping low-income families and customers with or without a job that don’t have the necessary funds to buy essential new household products outright.

Direct Appliance Rentals has developed a 12 month RentPlus® program to show our commitment to helping low-income customers and families around Australia using Centrepay or EziDebit. These customers don’t have the necessary funds to buy new essential product outright so rather than borrowing money or buying dodgy 2nd hand products that only last 3 months, we will work together to help supply a brand new fridge, washing machine, computer, TV, bed, etc.

While our clients will not own the product at the end of the lease, they can own it by buying it from us. A letter of offer will be sent to clients no later than 30 days from the end of the agreement where we can negotiate what will happen with the product. Clients may be able to make us an offer to purchase the product from as little as $1.

All of our products come with full manufacturers’ warranty and are brand new.
