Dr. Jack Frisch

I have a PhD in Economics from Princeton University. I have indirect experience of physical disability through a family member.

I have retired from teaching at the University of New South Wales, where I lectured in Microeconomics, Business Economics, the Economics of Information and Technology, Public Finance and Labour Economics. I am not affiliated to any political party or any particular School of Economics.

I am well-versed in mainstream Neoclassical Economics but am told that I might be a “closet Marxist”. My predisposition is to have respect for “markets” without being enamoured of them and to respect democratic processes in theory without being enamoured of them in practice.

The photo above is 10 years old. I have had a beard for 40 years because by doing so, I think I can do better things in the morning than look in the mirror and spend 3 minutes shaving and cutting my face.
