Discover Manaus

Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil

Despite the hot weather most part of the year, Manaus is a beautiful and interesting city, with lots of squares and public spaces. Because of its equatorial weather – different from the rest of Brazil’s tropical weather -, you cannot see many flowers, but you do sight a lot of trees and leaves. The contact with nature is the best part of the trip down here if you are fond of that much green.

If you’re not, that’s not really a problem. Manaus is a wide city. Besides its busy routine with great old and brand new buildings among enough good squares, there are plenty of activities to do both daytime and by night. And Manauara people are indeed very welcoming, as thousands of tourists have discovered during this World Cup.

Restaurants and malls are some of the residents’ favorite affairs, but exhibitions and plays are also welcome by anyone who lives in Manaus or is just passing by. The nightlife is usually exciting, and there’s always something to do, from Monday to Sunday.
