Distribution Center

In 1992, Big 5 had grown to more than 100 stores in California, Washington and Nevada. They built their huge distribution center in California to support the company’s continued growth. In 1992, the company was acquired by Leonard Green and Partners. They opened additional more stores and expanded their chain to the new market in Arizona, Idaho, New Mexico, Oregon, and Texas.
