I exist because He chose to create me. I live because He has a plan for me. I sing because He has filled my heart with melody. I lead because He has wired me that way. I worship because He is worthy. I give because He has blessed me. I love because He loves me immensely.

I see God in the little things… like the tiny wren eating crumbs left behind. Or the gentle breeze that announces the Spring. The smell of rain on the horizon. The fascinated giggles of a little child. The full moon that lights up the night, and hangs out at times to shake hands with the sun.

I don’t like “church as usual”. It’s proven too ineffective of late. I’m not a fan of religion. Rules and regulations don’t a Christ-follower make.

I'd rather love fiercely, unconditionally and often - and suffer the pain of loss at times - than to live a stagnant life with walls around my heart to avoid getting hurt.

I am a rebel – I don’t conform to the norm I am a redneck – just mess with my children or grandgirls and you’ll see I am a flower child – I spread my arms and twirl in the meadows under the beautiful sun or while being cleansed by a wonderful thunderstorm.

I am an artist. I love to laugh. To cry. To sing. To write. To teach. To read. To love. To be inspired. To be challenged. To be heard. To be trusted. To be loved.

I am… God's masterpiece.
