Eric Whitacre's "Deep Field: The Impossible Magnitude of our Universe" is a unique film and musical experience inspired by one of the most important scientific discoveries of all time: the Hubble Telescope's Deep Field image.


Taunia is an award-winning professional vocalist, Radio Host, and Music Educator. She is currently the Director of Music at The Academy at Penguin Hall in Wenham, MA as well as the Director of the Wilmington Community Chorus.

Taunia is an award-winning ASCAP vocalist and songwriter originally from the Boston, MA area. Heralded by jazz greats Herb Pomeroy and Terrance Blanchard as a “powerful vocalist with a warm, rich sound,” and she recently relocated from the Los Angeles, CA area back to the Boston music scene.

She’s been featured in SHAPE Magazine, NH Chronicle Television, The Boston Globe, on ABC’s “The Revolution” with Tim Gunn, as the featured vocalist on the popular PC game "Titan Quest," and on various radio programs and showcased around the globe. She has performed with Wayne Brady, The Persuasions, Rockapella, and and many other notable musicians and industry professionals.

Taunia is an active music educator with over twenty-five years teaching experience in both the public and private sector. She teaches voice, trumpet, piano and other instruments in the public schools and in the private sector at schools.
