Shannon Vassiliki Iliadis

I am a visual artist. I am the "Sylvia Plath"​ of my generation. I am a genius poetess. I am passionate about getting published as I have already outlived and out written Sylvia Plath. I have also out written Anne Sexton. I have written more than a 1000 poems in my lifetime. Many at the height of my illness these last 9 years. I have been writing poetry since I was 12 years old. But I have had Depression since I was 26 years old. I have had Depression with Psychotic Features since I was 34 now I am 42 years old. I live with auditory hallucinations but my writing is more brilliant than ever which is why I am a Genius Poetess. I am working on publishing my books "Avalanche, Volcano, Catalyst, Earthquake, The Collected Poems of Shannon Vassiliki Iliadis, Hurricane, Wildfires, Encore and Tornado." I want to change the way the mentally ill are viewed in their own society.

I was sexually molested as a child and raped as an adult. I support RAINN in raising awareness that 1 in 3 girls is sexually molested in America before age 18. That one has a 70% higher chance of being raped if one hears voices suffering from Depression with Psychotic Features, Bipolar, Schizoaffective disorder and Schizophrenia. As a feminist, I find this is unacceptable. I want the next generation of women to live out their lives and not be harmed and sexually taken advantage in their own bodies in their lifetime. Please support my charity RAINN as there is a direct link to higher rates of depression in women, who have been sexually abused as children. It's an epidemic.
