Divina Ramsey
A Registered Nurse (RN) with over a decade of clinical experience, Divina Ramsey most recently devoted her energy to caring for patients at Northbrook Nursing and Rehab in Willits, California. Born on the small island of Bohol in the Philippines, Divina Ramsey attended college at Holy Name University in Tagbilaran City, Philippines, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1999. Following the completion of her studies, Divina Ramsey utilized her skills as a volunteer at several local hospitals and applied herself as a private nurse in her spare time. In the early 2000s, Divina Ramsey served as Onboard Chief Craft Nurse on a commercial high-speed catamaran passenger boat, traveling to different islands throughout the Philippine chain. In 2003, Divina Ramsey relocated to Hawaii with her husband, in part to be closer to relatives who reside there. For the next few years, Divina Ramsey focused her energy on raising her son Chris, who is now seven years old. When the opportunity to move to California presented itself, Divina Ramsey and her family set out on a new adventure. After a short transitional period, Divina Ramsey settled into a new life in the Golden State and began pursuing volunteer work once again. In this capacity, Divina Ramsey donated time and energy to assisting children facing special academic challenges. Employing the knowledge gleaned over the course of her nursing career, as well as her innate nurturing capabilities, Divina Ramsey facilitated the personal and academic development of uniquely gifted children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Today, Divina Ramsey spends her time hiking, reading, and traveling. Recently, Divina Ramsey brought her husband and son to the Philippines. This trip held special meaning for her, as she was able to expose Chris to the culture and natural beauty of the Philippines.
