The first woman to serve as the administrator of the Probate Division of the Stark County Court of Common Pleas, Judge Dixie Park has dedicated more than 16 years of service in that position to advocating for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and court wards. During her first year there, she re-established the Court Angel Program to provide supervision to youth under the guardianship of the courts. Judge Dixie Park went on to spearhead the formation of the Guardian Oversight Council to train volunteer guardians.

Since 2008, she has passed on her wisdom to younger generations through her position on the faculty of the Ohio Judicial College. She also gives presentations at numerous conferences and seminars, and co-chaired the 50th anniversary planning committee for the Ohio Judicial Conference.

Her professional memberships include the National College of Probate Judges and the National Guardianship Association. She previously served as the president of the Ohio Association of Probate Judges, which bestowed upon her its Judicial Excellence Award, among other honors.
