Jack writes historical fiction, including the award-winning novels The Pict (2007) and Jerusalem Falls (2012). Writing, particularly historical fiction, has been his lifelong aspiration.

His first novel, The Pict, won several awards, including Honorable Mention for Fiction at the 2007 London Book Festival, the 2008 Eric Hoffer Book Award (Notable) for the General Fiction category, and the 2007 iUBR Award for Cover Design.

His second novel, Jerusalem Falls, won Honorable Mention for General Fiction at the 2012 New England Book Festival in April, 2012.
