Adonis Johnson

Hi my name is Adonis Johnson and welcome to my About.me profile. Here I will give you a brief summary of my background including where I am from, what I do, and some of my hobbies.

Well to start, I am a native of Jonesboro, Georgia, which is a city about 20 minutes south of Atlanta, GA. There is where it pretty much started for me, where I was raised to become the man that I am today.

A few years after I graduate from Lovejoy High School, I joined the United States Navy. To this day I feel like that was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. In the Navy I was a Culinary Specialist where I cooked for over 300 people daily aboard the USS Curtis Wilbur, which is stationed outside of Yokosuka, Japan. I really enjoyed Japan, and that country was a life changer for me. While I was stationed there I have visited countries such as Russia, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines just to name a few. It was a great experience but I wanted more!

I wanted to get my first college degree, which is why I attended Full Sail University. I have been looking at going to Full Sail since 2004 but at that time, I did not have the money to attend, but the school still stayed on my radar. Fast-forward 8 years later, and I earned my first Bachelors Degree in Music Business there. I also was awarded a Course Director's award and was named class Valedictorian! It was a huge honored, through my blood, sweat, and tears!

One thing that I am very passionate about is becoming a World Famous DJ. This has been a dream of mine since I was 13. I have done house parties and a few mixtapes, but school and military, as it should be, became my number 1 priority.

Currently I am working on my TEFL certification and preparing myself to become that World Famous DJ that I dreamed of! So of the places I plan on attending and spinning at are France and Italy! I am super excited, and cannot wait!
