Recognized by tastemakers like XXL and Jenesis Magazine , YS has performed with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Wale, Pac Div, DJ Scream, Mac Miller, and more. Mixing mainstream hits with more underground tunes, if there’s anyone who’s going to find a jam to make you go apesh*t crazy, it’s him. At a YS party, you’ll find everything from Hip Hop , R&B, Club, and Reggae to Go-Go, Pop, and even a little Electro. As YS himself says, “Any DJ can play radio hits and get the job done. It's those other songs that make a DJ great.”

When DJ YS isn’t behind the turntables, he takes his signature style and versatility to the studio. A versatile producer, YS produces his own work as well as the work of rising artists like indie singer Attia Taylor, Def Jam/Citi Under Siege's Bone, and Texas rapper Nick Pratt. One of DJ YS’s most successful productions has been with Nick Pratt for the single “Bake Sale,” named an XXL Banger this year. YS also produced Pratt’s Fear of Falling and The New Cool.
