Toronto's very own DJ GTR had been seriously involved with music since 2008. He started making remixes and mash-ups, he then fell deep into the game of production work and producing. It wasn't until late 2009 when he entered the live DJing scene. After managing to obtain some low-end equipment, he would put aside several hours a day practicing and building his music library. After playing at his first club event in late 2010, he was both motivated and inspired to get to the top of the industry. He managed to acquire better equipment, and with a lot of hard work and practice, he was being recognized for his great talent and skill. He stood out with his own unique style, his creative way of mixing and scratching was like no other. His great involvement of complex turntablism techniques in his regular mixing was outstanding. This raw talent and demand from the crowds kept moving him deeper into Toronto's nightlife industry. DJ GTR even managed to land himself his own weekly show at the University of Toronto's Fusion Radio while he was still in the eleventh grade in high school. He has already been busy playing at fashion shows, concerts, charity events, and not to mention numerous club events. He has also already played at some of the Toronto's most credible venues such as Mansion, XS Nightclub, Body English, Traffik, Suite 811, and On the Rox just to name a few! DJ GTR has also worked with some of the best DJs and artists in the business and is still putting forth the effort to learn and build from where he is.
