DJ is a songwriter / composer / artist whose songs and albums have been featured on the Billboard Charts, radio, and a number of tv shows. He has traveled the country touring in bands for over 6 years, and put out a number of independent releases over that time. He has a bachelors degree in Music Business from McNally Smith College in St. Paul Minnesota. He owns and operates out of a recording studio called Shred Mogul Studios where he writes and records with bands and artists locally. In his free time he likes to paint, stay up to date on politics, and play with his basset hound. He is a Minnesota Vikings season ticket holder, and loves not only the Vikings, but the Twins, Twolves, and Gophers as well. His friends call him DJ, which stands for Donovan Jr, for he is named after his father. He has a younger sister named Kirby who is a radio personality on a local FM radio station. He both lives and works in St Paul Minnesota.
