(Bio still under construction)

Born in the sixties, in the "Age of Aquarius", under the same sign, I showed artistic and technical skill very early on. I was always fascinated by science and creative exploits. My first computers were the venerable TRS-80s. With little software available at the time, I learned to code out of necessity, usually involving games or graphics.

While attending the Bronx High School of Science, I discovered an aptitude for graphic arts, drafting, physics, computer science, foreign languages, and, when I was interested in it, math.

Upon entering the University of Rochester, I intended to concentrate in physics and computer science. Finding that my real passions for creativity were not being served, I eventually found my niche in film studies and the studio arts. Trading concentrations actually gave me a very broad set of skills which would (unbeknownst at the time) prepare me for my profession in new media upon graduation.

Whilst still at college, I started a business preparing résumés and advertising graphics, eventually going by the name Premiere Graphics. I brought that experience, along with my expertise in computer graphics applications, to my first freelance position at a small, New York City-based advertising agency. While my skills as a graphic designer were needed, I found my new media experience was more in demand.

In 1991 I incorporated the business under the name Premiere Graphics International, Limited ("PGI") and have been involved in numerous projects covering the gamut, from CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, internet sites and applications, presentation technologies (kiosks, laptop-based, large-screen), entertainment (enhanced CDs, games, corporate shows), electronic brochures, training, and interactive tools (sales, directories, product prototypes). The clientele were diverse in size and specialty, including entrepreneurs, small businesses, large corporations, and advertising, marketing, and communications agencies.

Leveraging skills in the studio arts, an artistic eye, and an extensive knowledge of digital media and imaging, I have added photography as my other profession. Even with more than twenty years of experience in Photoshop, my style reflects a minimum of digital manipulation — usually only to convert an image to black-and-white or correct imperfections in the untouched image.
