DJ Haltom is a Southern born/raised former newspaper journalist, who has only recently begun exploring her deep-seeded passion of more creative/mainstream styles of writing. DJ Haltom currently resides in the DFW metroplex where she has lived for the past 15 years. Though a transplant to the area DJ Haltom has long since come to consider Texas her home. DJ Haltom began her career as a writer back in 2005 as a full-time student at Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch,TX; where she majored in Mass Communications w/Emphasis in Journalism while holding several positions on the college's student run newspaper, The Courier.
